Things will never be the same!

Well...the time has come, Braylon is completely mobile now! Up until two weeks ago he had no interest in crawling or even scooting. His cousin Abigail who is three weeks younger than him was crawling and climbing about a month before him and when they were together he would just watch her. It was almost as if he thought "Why put all that effort into it when someone will carry me?"
Now, fast forward to last night...Matt was vacuuming and Braylon was chasing the vacuum! We have to now block any doors, especially the glass ones on the entertainment center. A couple of days ago I walked out of the room for just a couple of seconds and when I came back, he was sucking on a DVD!
Watch out world!!!

"We've solved the problem"

When I went to pick up Madison from school yesterday, her teacher wanted to talk to me. Apparently when the class was lining up, Madison got stuck at the back of the line. For those of you that know Madison....that didn't go over very well. She was so upset that she HIT two little girls!! While her teacher was telling me, she climbed into a little cubby in her class and started crying and saying "I know that you are so mad at me...I will just sleep at school tonight, I don't want to go home!"
Once we got home and told Matt what had happened, of course she got in trouble and then apologized profusely.
Before she went to sleep we were talking and she said "Now mom, just tell me what I am supposed to do next time I have to be the end of the line?" I explained how everybody had to be at the end of the line sometimes and that was a cool place because when you are at the end..you are the "caboose". Of course she loved that idea!
She looked at me so sweet and said "tomorrow I am going to go to school and say I'm sorry to the little girls and that I will never do it again!" I hugged her and she whispered in my ear..."Now there, we've solved the problem!" :-)

"Wild Baby"

Last night Madison and Braylon were laying in my bed. I turned my back to them to put something away. I then hear Madison screaming (playfully) for help. I turned to see that Braylon had climbed up on her stomach and she had both of the arms and legs straight up in the air, yelling "Oh mom, I've got a wild baby all over me!!"
Of course I didn't have a camera then!! :-)

Me and my babies...

My Boys...

And you wonder...

Madison and Braylon have my eyes...other than that, they look just like daddy!

What a Smile!

Doctor Madison

"Mr. Bush, please stay still and take a deep breath."
(Madison got her doctor's kit for Christmas and everyone in the house has had probably 50 check up's since!)

Side by Side

"Madison...you're a little too close!"

Laundry Basket

We could have saved quite a bit of money last Christmas had we known that a simple laundry basket would bring hours of fun!

My "Heart-Stealers"
