Movie Night

Last Thursday night a group of our friends (our life group and another group) all went to see the movie "Fireproof" together. It was a great movie, everyone loved it!

Story time...

Samson and Delilah is a favorite bed time story! We read it probably three times a week. It's so cute, each time we read it, they act as if it's their first time ever hearing it!

Homework Time

Our nightly routine... dinner, play time, showers, homework then bed....

What a week...

Wow, what a week!

Wednesday I went and had my last wisdom tooth pulled...I was not expecting it to be a big ordeal... I was wrong. I spent Thursday and Friday doing nothing but crying and sleeping, it was awful! The funny thing is, it really wasn't my tooth that was hurting, it was the medication they had me on...Loritab. I was having a reaction to the medicine but thought it was pain from the procedure. Once I stopped taking it and switched to Tylenol (basically candy compared to the prescription), the migraine went away instantly and I feel 100% better. Crazy! Matt did a great job of holding things down while I was not functioning!

Friends and family, please be praying. My aunt Tracy (my mom's sister) suffered a stroke today. It hit the left side of her brain. Chelsea, her daughter who lives down in Pensacola with us is flying home in the morning to be with her mom. I don't really know many more details tonight, we have just been dealing with the shocking news this evening. It's times like that it's really hard being so far away from family. Please just be praying with us! We KNOW that God heals and we can trust Him!

Pictures from our Weekend in Jacksonville

Just finished unpacking...

Braylon was dying to start jumping on the bed!

Playing around with the kids!

Photography by Madison

Tired from driving, just relaxing.

Watching TV.

I asked Madison to pose for me and this is what I got. When I asked her why she wasn't smiling she replied "None of the super-models smile in pictures!"

I love this grin!

Madison's first Jags game!

Getting ready to ride the train at the mall.

So excited!

Nothing better than orange chicken from Panda Express! Now that's high living!! :)

When Madison was unpacking her things at the hotel she noticed that the Bibles were in the drawer. Since she brought her Bible, she just HAD to put it in the same drawer with the others!

Matt kept telling Braylon that he needed to wear his hat right, not propped up on his head! (It's only just begun!)

Cutest little fans ever!

Game Day...walking in!

Couldn't wait to climb the rock wall outside of the stadium

Getting all geared up to climb.

Madison in action!!

Eating cookies, waiting for the game to start.

So cute!

It was sure hot out, but that didn't stop the fun!

Jacksonville skyline is pretty!

Fans coming in the stadium.

Funny story: When we walked in, they were asking everyone to stretch out your arms in order to check for weapons or something. Well, Madison and I went the through the female line and Matt and Braylon obviously went through the male line. As Braylon was walking up, the police officer stretched out his arms really wide as if to show Braylon what he was supposed to do. Since my 3 year old has never been searched before by the police, he thought the officer wanted a hug. Braylon walked right up to him and hugged his legs! Matt and I just stopped what we were doing and started laughing!! It was so cute!

Our family...

"Your 2008 Jacksonville Jaguars!!"

3 Army helicopters flew over the stadium as the National Anthem was being sung.

Trip To Jacksonville

Well, it's Saturday evening around 10:00 pm. We brought the kids to Jacksonville this weekend as I won 4 tickets to see the Jaguars play the Texans. Gotta love EBay, we got 4 tickets for the price of 1! We left Pensacola this morning around 10:30 and arrived at 5:00 (we lose an hour switching time zones). Our hotel is very nice and the kids just think it is wonderful getting to sleep in a bed that is so high they have to jump up to get into it! :)
Tonight we went to the Regency Square Mall and let the kids ride the train that they have in the center of the mall. When we were in town a couple months back, Braylon found this train and has talked about it non-stop. At the time, Madison was visiting with Papa and Grammy in Indiana. He was so excited for sissy to see this train! We then ate in the food court, played a little skee ball in the arcade and then came back to the hotel.
Matt and I are both battling colds and are loaded up on Advil cold medicine... we should sleep good tonight!!
Speaking of sleep...I'm off to bed. I will post more about the game tomorrow. Good night!

Really?

Last night I went through the drive-thru at Chick-Fil-A. Normally they are always so polite there so when they strike up conversation at the window, it's not really uncommon. However, I pulled up to the window to get my food and the girl says to me, "Wow, I haven't seen you in a while." I thought to myself, "That's thoughtful, I do try to smile wherever I'm at and be nice to people." Then she went on to say "I have never seen you wear your glasses, they look nice!" WOW, am I really there that much????....I HAVE to start cooking more!! :)

Playing in the Rain...

Yesterday afternoon when Madison got home from school she and Hannah enjoyed the rain storm!!

Madison kept trying to hug me right after they came in! :) They were obviously soaking wet and headed straight for a hot shower! These two have a blast together!!

Of course, because I was taking pictures of sissy, Braylon had to strike a pose as well.....
