Ever since Matt took Madison to the high school football game, she has LOVED cheerleading. We were driving in the car the other day and Madison started a cheer that she wanted us to repeat:
Give me an "E"... (we repeated)
Give me an "A"... (we repeated)
Give me a "R" ... (we repeated)
Give me a "N"... (we repeated)
Give me a "Q" ... (we repeated)
Give me an "O" ... (we repeated)
"Whatda you got?" Matt and I looked at each other and he said "I don't know, what is that Madison?" With irritation rising in her voice she said..."I don't know, you are the ones who know how to spell, not me!"

"Guess what I am?"
Friday, when I picked Madison up from school she looked at me and said "Mom, you know what I am?" When I responded, she held her shoulders back proudly and proclaimed, "I am a safety violation!" I asked her to repeat herself and tried not to laugh. She said it bold and proud, "A safety violation!" All of a sudden you could see it on her face, realizing that was not was she was trying to say. Without hesitation she corrected herself, "Patrol, patrol, Mom, I meant safety patrol!"
She constantly makes us laugh!!
She constantly makes us laugh!!

"The Big Day!!"
Can you believe that I am sending my little baby to the halls of this school everyday? OK, so maybe she's not a little baby , but the question is, is she really ready for this?
I assure you that the answer is yes!! :) As Matt and I took her and showed here where everything was, she said "OK, I love you, bye!" We looked at each other as if to say "What just happened?" We were thinking that she would cry and beg us not to leave her, maybe hold on to my leg not wanting me to go, at least well up with tears in her eyes....there was none of that! Matt and I walked out of the school with our shoulders low and not talking... we were on the verge of losing it. (Pretty funny, I guess!)

This is the little bench that the kids have to sit on to wait for the teacher to tell them to come in the classroom. Madison knew this little girl from preschool. I overheard Madison say to her, "Can you believe that we are in Kindergarten?"

On her way...

Look how much bigger the book bag is than her!

Finishing up school shopping
Saturday we finished up getting all of Madison's school supplies. I can't believe Kindergarten starts tomorrow. I am going to be a nervous wreck! :)

Here is Madison resting from all the hardwork of letting your parents buy for you!

Matt and Madison both got new school shoes!

Braylon was just enjoying the ride!

School Clothes Shopping
It's official, our little girl is growing up. Today we went school clothes shopping. Madison starts kindergarten on the 28th. How is this even possible?
We were at the Children's Place and all Madison wanted to try on was pajama's, I inconvenienced her when I asked her to try on jeans and long sleeve shirts! :)
After we bought her clothes, we then took our school supplies list and went to Target. She wanted to start using all of her supplies when we got home, what can I say, our daughter is eager to learn! :)

Overdue Update
You know, the only time that I really have to add anything to this blog is between 10:30 and midnight, by then my brain is on overload. With that being said, tonight, you might have to overlook any mistakes or sentences that don't quite make sense!
Madison has been sick the last few days, running a fever, not eating and just wanting to lay down (which is not her). I took her to the doctor this morning and found out that she has cold sores lining the roof of her mouth. They have spread out to her lips and chin. The poor little girl is miserable! Luckily it's one of a few viruses that can be treated with antibiotics. Hopefully by this time tomorrow night, once the meds have kicked in, she will be feeling much better! I so hate it when the kids are sick, I wish I could take it for them!
Braylon is our little "tank". It seems as if he has thirteen arms at any given moment. On the other hand, he has this smile that melts your heart! He has started dancing, whenever he hears an upbeat song, he will bounce his hips in a full circle and just smile. It cracks us up!! I feel like the only thing that I ever say to him is "No No". Whenever he gets excited, angry, hungry or even happy...all he wants to do is hit at you! I have been slapped in the face more than once and he just giggles! I am trying to teach him that Mommy and Madison are fragile...but Daddy on the other hand.... :)
One of the things that I love about having kids is....no two days are ever the same! What a joy they are!!

Madison's 5th Birtday Party
For the 3rd year in a row we have celebrated Madison's birthdays with "Princess" theme. (I guess it's only appropriate!)

Madison loved hearing everyone sing to her!

Braylon has almost conquered his fear of grass!

"The Girls"...Chelsea, Sarah, Hannah, Abigail and Nickie

Madison schooled the men on the art of soccer!

The scoccer pro.

She told Gammy and Papa that she has always wanted a soccer ball.
